What Are The Health Effects of Marijuana?

Marijuana: Effects and Side Effects

Marijuana affects each person differently.

We can only talk about the effects of marijuana. Whether those effects are desirable or not depends on the state of the user.

Using Marijuana Intelligently

There can be some positive uses of marijuana if the person uses it intelligently. This means that s/he balances the marijuana when s/he takes it.

It also means not abusing marijuana.

Who Might Benefit From Taking Marijuana

People who are in chronic pain.

People who have slow upper digestive processes and a general sense of weakness, such as with many chronic illnesses.

Someone who feels cold, introverted, uninspired, shut down and alone, is averse to food and suffers from chronic runny phlegm, abdominal bloating and profound sexual dysfunction.

Prescribing Marijuana in Context

It’s important and much more effective to combine a variety of substances and/or practices to balance out negative effects and enhance positive ones.

Marijuana’s Long-Term Health Effects

Traditional Chinese Medicine considers marijuana’s effects to be largely undesirable, especially in the long term.

Exceptions to the Rule?

For people with chronic illness who suffer from the things that marijuana can help with, it can actually improve their longevity by helping them to thrive.

For people who are in chronic and/or intense levels of pain, anything that will help them get out of the pain is good enough.
